To My
Outpost Family -
I have been receiving emails from people noticing that the
OutPost is being physically moved and wondering if I was a part
of that. First of all, it is no longer “The OutPost” it is now
just a building. As most of you know, the owner of “the
building,” is moving the “building” to the corner of the lot
which he still owns a strip of. His plan is supposedly to
remodel and open a family oriented restaurant. I am in NO WAY a
part of that. On the other hand, the people who bought the
“land” and are opening a gas station on the corner have been so
helpful and cooperative, and I wish them great success.
So...there you have it....I hope this clears this up for
everyone.

3) There are
several new media articles about the closing of the OP and they have

Update - 8pm January 15, 2010
The OutPost Is
Closed
Unfortunately,
the owners of the land parcel upon which the OutPost Tavern sits
have accelerated the “closing date” by changing the door locks on
January 14, 2010. This was completely unexpected and I am sorry for
our friends who had planned parties throughout the month. We will
release another statement soon to all of our OP Friends….”
